The app is provided as-is
Outkitted is a free tool to help you organize gear and estimate pack weight and cost. We work hard to make it accurate, but we don't guarantee it's error-free. Weights, prices, and specs are estimates — always verify anything safety-critical against the manufacturer. Your loadout choices, and what you carry into the backcountry, are your own responsibility.
Your data is yours
Your gear and loadouts are stored in your browser. You own that content. We don't claim any rights to it, and we don't have a copy. Keep your own backup of anything important — see the Privacy Policy for detail.
Our content
The writing, guides, branding, and design on this site are ours. You're welcome to link to and quote us with attribution; please don't republish whole articles as your own.
Gear links
Gear links point to manufacturers' sites as plain links — Outkitted currently runs no affiliate programs and earns nothing when you click. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed plainly on the pages where such links appear.
